Our future is God's future and his future is a good one in which all wrongs are put to right
All injustice eradicated, all sickness and sorrow passes away, poverty is ended and death is no more. The earth will be renewed and life will be as God intended when he first created the heavens and the earth.
Just as Jesus is risen from the dead and is alive so we believe that having been born again that all disciples of Jesus have eternal life and will one day be raised to life and work with Christ in the heavens and the earth.
But before we get to that great day God will judge mankind collectively and individually for our wickedness, unbelief and rebellion. There will be a cleansing and renewing of the earth and all those whose names are not found written in God's book of life will be cast into the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
God needs to act in this way to deal once and for all with the source and destructive effects of evil. God sets before us the way of life and the way of death.
