We believe the Bible is God's revealed truth about Himself and His dealings with mankind, past, present and future
We believe that God spoke through Israel's ancient prophets to establish the Old Testament and through the disciples and followers of Jesus to establish the New Testament and that the canon of Holy Scripture was carefully established by the early Church Fathers.
We acknowledge that the Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek and translated into Latin and later into English and that scholars have in the past and continue in the present to seek to capture the original meaning of the texts through modern translations.
We therefore use different translations to help us understand God's truth whilst mainly using the New International Version in our services.
